Volunteers make vital contributions to every aspect of The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis.

ScholarShop Volunteers

About 150 volunteers currently work alongside student employees processing donations and assisting customers at ScholarShop locations in Webster Groves and Clayton.

Since the first ScholarShop opened in 1960, more than 1,000 volunteers have helped make it a commercial success and a significant source of funding for student loans, grants, and The Scholarship Foundation’s education and assistance programs. Some volunteers have given ScholarShop more than 25 years of service. Many ScholarShop volunteers also are major financial contributors to The Scholarship Foundation.

Shop volunteers receive a 20-percent discount on purchases and the satisfaction of knowing that their effort helps provide educational opportunity for area students.

Scholarship Foundation Volunteers

Members of the Foundation’s board of directors all serve as volunteers. Other volunteers serve as community ambassadors. Volunteers devote countless hours and personal energy to reviewing student loan applications, sending tributes, and attending student programs.
