Once again, our Program staff traveled extensively in 2017, visiting high schools, colleges, community organizations, and libraries to facilitate workshops and presentations; share information about Scholarship Foundation programs and services at college fairs; and meet with students one-on-one or in small groups.
In total, Student Advisors conducted 127 outreach activities and 82 site visits to partner high schools, colleges, and community agencies. Our advisors delivered critical, timely, and objective information on financial aid, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), college affordability, and informed decision-making regarding college enrollment to over 6,000 individuals in our service area and beyond.
