The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis announced today that it will move to new office space in the City of St. Louis. The organization, which has been located in Clayton, MO for the past 70 years, will transition in early July to offices at 6825 Clayton Avenue.

“The Scholarship Foundation began in a home in the Parkview neighborhood of St. Louis City nearly 100 years ago,” said Faith Sandler, Executive Director of The Scholarship Foundation. “As we approach our centennial celebration in 2020, we are eager to make this move to a location that is central for the students and families we serve across the region.”

ScholarShop Update

The Scholarship Foundation also announced that the final day of retail operations at the Clayton location of ScholarShop will be Monday, July 3. The Webster Groves store closed previously. In September, The Scholarship Foundation Board of Directors voted to begin the process of closing the ScholarShop stores, and focus on maximizing assistance for area students.

“We would like to thank the community for contributing to the success of ScholarShop for 57 years. The Scholarship Foundation works to create educational opportunities, cultivate a talented workforce, and build the community necessary to sustain healthy democracy,” said Sandler. “Our first priority is to provide financial support to help make college attendance – and graduation – a reality for area students. These changes allow us to have an increased focus on students, rather than infrastructure.”

Shoppers at ScholarShop-Clayton will continue to find new racks of merchandise available through mid-June. Sales on remaining merchandise and fixtures will begin on June 14 and continue through July 3.
